Privacy Policy

Venn (tryvennai.app), a product of Ordinary Software Labs, LLC, generates automated reports about Upwork freelancer profiles. This policy explains what we collect and why.

What we collect

• The profile URL or profile text you submit, your target niche, and any job description you add.
• Your email address and payment status, provided by our payment processor (Stripe) when you buy a report. We never see or store your card details.
• A one-way hash of your IP address, used only for rate limiting.
• Anonymous usage analytics (page views and funnel events), without cookies.

We never ask for your Upwork password, login, cookies or session tokens.

How we use it

To generate your report, deliver it to you, prevent abuse and improve the product. Your profile content is processed by AI model providers through the Vercel AI Gateway to produce the analysis. We don't sell your data.

Comparison profiles

To compare positioning, we look up public Upwork profiles through a web search provider. We store only derived summary signals (for example, whether a headline mentions an industry) and the public URL, not copies of those profiles. These signals are deleted after 30 days.

Retention and deletion

• Your raw profile text is deleted once your full report has been generated.
• Unpaid reports are deleted after 30 days.
• You can delete your report and submitted data at any time from the report page. Payment records are kept for accounting.

Processors

Vercel (hosting, AI gateway, analytics), Supabase (database), Stripe (payments), Exa (web search), Resend (email), and the AI model providers used through the gateway.
